Breathing New Life Into A Classic Series
Strategy 3 Tactics proudly continues to support and grow a dedicated community of casual gamers committed to the original Close Combat series. To date, Strategy 3 Tactics has created expanded and vastly improved "remakes" of the original Close Combat games, breathing new life into the aging series while revitalizing the community at the same time.
Apart from releasing "remakes" of the original four titles in the series, Strategy 3 Tactics has also released Close Combat - Modern Tactics. Departing from the traditional World War II setting, Modern Tactics is set in modern times in a fictional African hotspot. Close Combat - Modern Tactics was met with both critical and customer acclaim as it was based off of the advancements and modifications made to the core Close Combat engine for one our serious games projects, Close Combat Marines.
